Stauffer, Marilyn R.
Marilyn R. Stauffer, 83, of Orrville, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Accord Care Community in Orrville.
She was born in Wayne County on February 14, 1938 to the late Nathan and Martha (Hofstetter) Begly and Married Norman C. Stauffer on July 13, 1963. He died October 26, 2019.
Norman and Marilyn served at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, NC and overseas working with Rwandan women in Kenya.
She is survived by children, Leon Stauffer of North Canton, Loretta (Mike) Tschetter of Sioux Falls, SD and Lavern (Tonya) Stauffer of Huber Heights; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Maynard Begly of Gallipolis and Vernice (Polly) Begly of Illinois.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Begly; and a brother, Loren Begly.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at the Kidron Mennonite Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 1-2:00 pm prior to services. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or the Kidron Mennonite Church.
