What do you love about working at Dalton Local Schools?
Dalton is such a great district to be apart of because of the incredible community that we have here. Everyone always says that Dalton is a special place, and it is such a blessing to experience this firsthand, everyday. Our community is so supportive of each and every endeavor and it is amazing to watch the impact of this! It is truly such a privilege to be a part of it!

How did you get to where you are today?
I have known that I wanted to be a teacher since my first day of second grade! I went to Malone University and received my dual licensure in Early Childhood Education and Intervention. I was fortunate enough to start my very first teaching job at Dalton! I am now in my 6th year of teaching and I get to collaborate with some of the most passionate educators who inspire me each day! The students that I work alongside also inspire me to teach and stay a lifelong learner. I am able to learn so much from their diligence, perseverance, and excitement for learning!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that people may be surprised to hear.

I am an identical twin! When my sister and I were younger, people often had difficulty telling us apart. Now as adults, we live far enough away from each other that it doesn’t happen as often, but we always have a good laugh when it does!
