Orrville — Mark A. King, age 59, of Orrville, entered the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 5, 2021, following complications from COVID-19.
Mark was born on June 11, 1962, in Wooster, Ohio, to Nancy (Brown) Parks, graduated from Wooster High School in 1981, and married Robin Hartman on September 3, 1983, in Wooster.
He worked as a engineer for Magni-Power in Wooster for for over 35 years.
Mark loved working outdoors in his yard and garden, grilling, golfing, being in the snow, hanging out with his friends and family, and reading his Bible. He was a Michigan Wolverine fan for life and had crossed off over 100 pizza places on his pizza bucket list, Coccia House being his favorite.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Robin King; daughter, Melissa King; and in-laws, Betty and Jeffery King, all of Orrville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery A. King, mother, Nancy Parks; sister, Lynn Buckland; and brother, Clifford Parks.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will take place at a later date. Per Mark’s wishes, a cremation will take place and burial of cremated remains will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
