Orrville — Laurel (Lisic) VanLear, age 74, of Orrville, died Monday, November 29, 2021, her residence in Orrville, following a period of declining health.
Laurel was born on June 3, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to Francis and Betty (Melonas) Lisic and graduated from Ellet High School in 1966.
She enjoyed volunteering at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church & Goss Memorial Church, she also showed Shiba Inu dogs where they won grand champions. She loved to bake, take care of her dogs, and care for those around her.
Surviving are son, Steven E. (Tracy) Feldscher of Astoria, OR; daughter, Stephanie E. (Chris Capra) Mann of Lakewood, CO; six grandchildren, Matt Feldscher, Ashley Feldscher, Carson Feldscher, Ashley (Michael) Holmes, and Jaycob Mann, ; great grandchildren, Michael Holmes, Jr. and Every Rose Holmes; two brothers, James Lisic of Knoxville, TN, and Larry G. (Mary Lou) Lisic of Orrville; six nieces and nephews, Brian, Jenna, Amanda, Jonathan, Kathryn, and Sebastian.
She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, William (Bill) C. Vanlear; grandson, Zachary Feldscher; sister, Annabelle L. Lisic; and sister-in-law, Wendy R. Lisic.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
