Dickens, Raymond Wesley
Wooster — Raymond Wesley Dickens, age 67, of Wooster, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a sudden illness.
He was born on September 27, 1954, in Lodi, Ohio, to Robert and Nina (Miller) Dickens, attended Cloverleaf High School, and was a life-long farmer on his family dairy farm. More recently, he worked at Jake’s Restaurant in his retirement.
Ray enjoyed spending time outdoors, farming, gardening, auctions, antiquing, and taking peaceful walks in the woods. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Wesley (JoEllen) Dickens of Orrville, Emily (Douglas) Horst of Sterling, Robert (Shaquez) Dickens of Wooster, and Sarah (Joshua) Streblow of Wooster; 13 grandchildren; former wife, Malinda Wilson; and three siblings, Beverly (Randall) Eutin of Shreve, Dana (Linda) Dickens of West Salem, and Dennis (Linda Salerno) Dickens of Medina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Stanley Dickens.
Per Ray’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public services.
