Reeder, David J.

Wooster — David J. Reeder, age 66, of Dalton, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster, following a period of declining health.
David was born on October 16, 1955, in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late James and Clara (Boyer) Reeder and graduated from Dalton High School in 1974.
He worked as a laborer for Kidron Incorporated for 40 years and then worked at Kidron Town & Country.
David was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He was very active at the church and never missed a Sunday service, he loved anything that dealt with the railroad, and going on walks.
Surviving are brother, Doug A. (Gail) Reeder of Dalton; two nieces, Rachel (Seth) Miller of Wooster, and Rebecca (Jeremiah) Mast of Dalton; three nephews, Jason (Courtney) Reeder of Dalton, Ryan (Lori) Neuenschwander of Navarre, and Douglas (Missy) Lengacher of Orrville; two great nieces, Lauren Neuenschwander, and Macie Lengacher; two great nephews, Jayden Lengacher, and Lane Lengacher; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by, sister, Judith L. Lengacher; and great nephew, Zach Neuenschwander.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Auble Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Simonsen officiating. Burial will take place at the Salem Mennonite Cemetery in Dalton.
