Ebverly, Clarence B.
Clarence B. Eberly, 85, of Dalton, peacefully departed his earthly home to enter eternal rest on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 with family by his side.
He was born on October 15, 1936 near Orrville to the late Clayton and Carrie (Burkhart) Eberly and on March 28, 1959 he married Luella (Neuenschwander) Eberly, who survives. They enjoyed 62 years together. In his youth he accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized. He was called to the office of deacon in 1981 and was a faithful member of the County-Line Mennonite Church at the time of his death.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 sons, Roger (Joanne) of Dalton, Ralph (Elaine) of Leetonia, Joseph (Diane) of Apple Creek, and Michael (Kristina) of Apple Creek; 2 daughters, Marcia Eberly of Dalton, and Jenny (Michael) Good of Dalton; 35 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray Eberly of Pennsylvania; and a sister, Wilma (Eberly) Steiner of Missouri.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Albert, Wain, Lloyd, Homer, Earl, John, and Glenn; sisters, Edna, Mildred, Dorothy, and Ethel; and one grandson, Darrick Eberly.
Friends may call from 1-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am with the local ministry officiating. Services and calling hours will be at County-Line Mennonite Church, 19199 Church Road, Dalton, Ohio. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
