Lady Dawgs hit stride with wins

Dalton sophomore Addesa Miller has drawn inspiration from 2 Chronicles 15:7 ever since she was in junior high, and her father writes it on her shooting arm before each basketball game.

Since seventh grade, Addesa Miller has focused on a Bible verse: “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
After surgery on her ACL, Miller, a Dalton sophomore and member of Dalton’s basketball and volleyball teams, drew inspiration from 2 Chronicles 15:7. Those words helped to take her through rehab, and now she is taking them with her on the basketball court.
Dalton High School’s varsity girls basketball team proved last week they are not slowing down in the second half of the season after league wins over Norwayne and Smithville. The Lady Dawgs now hold an overall record of 7-5 and a WCAL record of 6-2.
