Dalton wrestlers finish 3rd at Husky Invite

Dalton’s Tate Geiser was named Most Valuable Wrestler Saturday at the 16-team Husky Invite.
Dalton’s Austin Ryder placed first in his weight class, along with Tate Geiser.
Dalton’s Greyson Siders placed third in his weight class.
Dalton’s Sean Geiser placed third along with Micah Boyer, Kaden Russell, and Greyson Siders.

Dalton High School’s wrestling team finished third this past weekend at the 16-team Husky Invite.  Winning their weight classes were seniors Tate Geiser and Austin Ryder. Finishing third were Micah Boyer, Kaden Russell, Greyson Siders, and Sean Geiser. Ty Ramseyer finished sixth. Tate Geiser was named Most Valuable Wrestler.
“This was a great tournament for our guys,” Head Coach Kenton Lemon said in an email. “I believe that everyone got tested at some point and every guy on our team won at least one match.  I think we wrestled a great tournament but I think we still have to continue to work on our offense from referees position and continue to build our strength and conditioning.”
