DHS One Act Play community performance cancelled; Wayne County One Act Play Festival moved to Jan. 26

DALTON Because of weather concerns, the community performance of Dalton High School’s One Act Play, which was originally scheduled for Monday evening has been cancelled.
The Wayne County One Act Play Festival has been moved from Tuesday, Jan. 25 to the snow date, which is Wednesday, Jan. 26.
As reported earlier, eight schools will be presenting the day of the festival. The event will be open to the public.
This year, because of COVID, classes will not be permitted to go to the auditorium during the festival to view the plays. The schedule of the day is as follows:

* 7:30-7:40 a.m.: Welcome and introduction of adjudicators
* 7:40-8:27 a.m.: “How to Ruin Your Promposal” — Smithville
