Collins, Margaret L. “Peggy”

Orrville — Margaret L. “Peggy” Collins, age 68, of Orrville, formerly of Beech City and many locations as a Navy wife, died Thursday, January 28, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a period of declining health.
Peggy was born on May 16, 1953, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late George Henry and Lois Blanche (Thompson) Goad and married Gary Lee Collins on August 22, 1991, in Sardinia, Italy.
She worked as a Cashier for numerous employers in many locations around the globe while Gary completed his career in the United States Navy.  During this time she also served as a volunteer with family services for the Navy.
Peggy was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed various hobbies and crafts, including crocheting and knitting.  She also enjoyed computer games and puzzles, watching movies, shopping, campfires and family get-togethers.
Surviving are her husband, Gary; daughter, Kimberly Sue (Craig) Elliott of Seattle, WA; son, Jason Allen (Linda) Wilhite of Goldendale, WA; five grandsons, Dale Allen White, Jarrod Boison, Cody Daniels, Jerome Boison, and Wade Wilhite; and a brother, Michael (Trina) Goad of Fort Myers, FL.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George “Tony G.” Goad; and a sister, Tammy Lynn Osborne.
There will be no services and cremation will take place with burial of ashes at the Apple Creek Cemetery.
