Putman, Miriam Marie
Miriam Marie Putman, age 95, of Brewster, Ohio and Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away on January 18, 2022, at Joanne’s House, Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Born in Justus, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Mary Gessaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Robert C. Putman, Sr., and son-in-law Jon M. Morrison.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Majors, children, Robert C. Putman Jr. (Irene) and Candy L. Morrison; grandchildren, Lori D. Bodkin (Robert), Chad R. Putman (Kimberly) and Joshua M. Morrison; and four great grandchildren.
Miriam worked for many years as a cashier at Wilmot IGA. Her leisure activities included reading, knitting, crocheting and gardening.
She was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship in Mt. Eaton.
A private family service will be held at Spidell Funeral Home with Pastor Rod McBride officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmot.
