Miller, Fannie Marie

Fannie Marie Miller, 88, of Apple Creek and formerly of Kidron, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Walnut Hills nursing home where she had been a resident the last 2 years.

She was born in Uniontown, OH on January 10, 1934 to the late Moses A. and Lydiann (Erb) Coblentz and married Atlee J. Miller on July 1, 1954.  He died on February 23, 2016 following 61 years of marriage.
Fannie was a member of Fairlawn Mennonite Church in Apple Creek. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening as hobbies.  Prior to retirement she worked at Das Dutch Kitchen in Dalton and the Helping Hands Quilt Shop in Berlin.  Fannie and Atlee enjoyed traveling in the states and internationally.  Fannie also enjoyed her family and attended events for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Bert) Yoder of Wilmot, Elden (Carol) Miller of Apple Creek, Steven (Christina) Miller of Dalton, Atlee (Miriam) Miller Jr. of Freeport, Debra (Gary) Schrock of Millersburg and Rose (Lester) Wengerd of Sarasota, FL; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; sisters, Clara Miller and Ann Troyer, both of Sarasota, FL, Mary Huprich of Sugarcreek and Emma Miller of Virginia Beach, VA; brothers, John M. (Connie) Coblentz of Hohenwald, TN and Moses M. (Irene) Coblentz of Ashland, OH; brother-in-law, Ray Gingerich of Martinsburg, OH; sister-in-law, Lea (Bruce) Coblentz Mast of Fort Myers, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Lee Miller; a granddaughter, Micaela Wengerd; sisters, Ada Troyer and Lillie Gingerich; brothers, Paul M. Coblentz, Andrew M. Coblentz and Peter M. Coblentz; brothers-in-law, Emanuel Miller, David Troyer, Lester Miller and John Troyer.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Fairlawn Mennonite Church, 8520 Emerson Road, Apple Creek.  Family graveside services will be held prior in the church cemetery.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8:00 pm at the church.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff of Walnut Hills Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Fannie.
