Cunningham, Minnie B.

Smithville — Minnie B. Cunningham, age 72, of Smithville, died Friday, January 28, 2022, at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster, following a period of declining health.

Minnie was born on November 25, 1949, in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Charles and Ruth (Perry) Whitmore and married James on November 4, 1966.  James died on July 25, 2003.

She graduated from Orrville High School in 1968 and worked as a homemaker.

She enjoyed crafts, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Tom Cunningham of Smithville, and James (Christine) Cunningham of Orrville; two daughters, Christine (Craig) Falb of Wooster, and Brenda Harper of Orrville; brother, Charles (Cathy) Whitmore; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her significant other, Ken Scott of Smithville.

She was preceded in death by brother, Carl Eugene Whitmore.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 10:45 am at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273 with Pastor Don Bolich officiating.
