Imhoff, Glenn T.

Wadsworth — Glenn T. Imhoff, age 92, of Wadsworth, formerly of Orrville and Rittman, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Glenn was born on August 6, 1929, in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Albert and Hazel (Maxwell) Imhoff. He graduated from Orrville High School in 1947 and then The Cleveland Institute of Art in 1953.  Glenn served with the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.
He worked as a artist for American Greetings retiring in 1995.
Glenn was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, a former member of the Cleveland Orchestra Choir, and belonged to several barber shop groups. He was passionate about music and art. He loved singing in the church choir, and volunteering at the friendship meals at the church.
Surviving are three nieces, Catherine Imhoff of Laurel, MD, Jennifer (Rick) Hooper of Newport, TN, and Cindy (Ken) Mann of Rittman; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; and brothers, Albert W. Imhoff, Jr., and John David Imhoff.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on March, 12, 2022 at Christ United Church of Christ, 301 North Main Street, Orrville, with Rev. Dr. Michael H. Bone officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
