Forward in Faith: Central Christian celebrates upgrades for next generation

Three generations take part in a ribbon cutting Saturday for the newly renovated building at Central Christian School. Bruce Kooker, longtime Central employee, his son Zach Kooker, current athletic director, and his son Jase, a Central student cut the ribbon while standing on a small sample deck made for the auction for Keim Home Center’s $7,500 gift card for home repairs.

KIDRON  Central Christian School was a beehive of activity this past snowy Saturday hosting a breakfast, its annual fundraising auction filled with unique items and services, and slipping in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for renovations.

“Before the auction got underway, we paused with 75 or more people standing in the new lobby to give thanks and celebrate this important addition to the school,” said Terry Shue, interim head administrator.
