WEEKLY WAYNE COUNTY CONSTRUCTION REPORT: State route 83 major rehab project

SR 83, from just south of U.S. 30 to Milltown Road, will have daily lane closures for the removal and replacement of all existing full-depth pavement, shoulder widening, ramp improvements, and the roadway curvature on SR 83 northbound, south of SR 3 interchange, will be modified to improve sight distance, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation update.

NEW IMPACTS

• Weather permitting, SR 83 will have daily and nightly lane closures as crews begin pavement repairs.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

• There will be minor work being performed at the bottom of the SR 3 south ramp to SR 83. Traffic will be maintained by single lane closures and the use of flaggers when necessary.
• Traffic will be maintained in 11’ lanes both northbound and southbound.
