Wayne County Transit Demonstration Day March 31 in Kidron and Orrville

Wayne County Transit travels throughout the county to places of employment, medical facilities, grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants, schools, libraries, and more, according to a Wayne County news release.

Riders can travel to and from anywhere in the county, including Apple Creek, Burbank, Creston, Congress, Dalton, Doylestown, Fredericksburg, Kidron, Marshallville, Mt. Eaton, Orrville, Rittman, Shreve, Smithville, West Salem, and Wooster.

Pickups and drop-offs are open to rural and city residents as “on-demand” transportation.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Wayne County Transit program or registering to become a rider may visit one of the following locations on Thursday, March 31:
* 9 – 11 a.m. Kidron Auction Parking Lot, 4885 Kidron Rd, Kidron.
* 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Orr Park Schmid Hall Parking Lot, 501 Hall St, Orrville.

One-way rides are $2.50.
