Mishler. Karen G.

Karen G. Mishler, 74, of Dalton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster

She was born near Apple Creek on January 14, 1948 to the late Elmer and Agnes (Amstutz) Geiser and married William Mishler on September 13, 1968 and he survives.
Karen was a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University and had worked as the administrative assistant to the director of nursing at Columbia University and later worked as a legal secretary for a law firm in Manhattan, NY.
She studied the art of Ikebana for many years and also enjoyed running, biking and hiking.
For the last 16 years Karen had been wheelchair bound from a spinal cord accident.  She faced her adversity with courage and a smile.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by siblings, Arlene (Les) Frazier of Houston, TX, Marceil Geiser of College Station, TX and Olin (Karen) Geiser of Dalton; nephews, Reuben, Simeon, Jethro and Obadiah Geiser; and a niece, Elizabeth Geiser.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.  Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am the Sonnenberg Village, 13497 Hackett Road, Kidron.  Family graveside services will be held prior in the Sonnenberg Mennonite Church Cemetery.
