Funeral arrangements have been announced and a lengthy procession is expected as a tribute to Lt. Philip Wigal, of West Salem, who died in the line of duty Monday while responding to a traffic crash along I-71.
The funeral for the 35-year-old Town & Country firefighter will be at 10 a.m. Friday and will take place at the Wooster Church of the Nazarene. Apparatus will arrive at 9:30 a.m. A full processional will proceed the service to West Salem Cemetery.
