Finnicum, Ardith J.

Ardith J. Finnicum, 75, of Navarre, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

She was born in Wooster on July 1, 1946 to the late Wilfred and Leah (Stuckey) Nussbaum and married Donald Finnicum on September 25, 1982 and he survives.
She was a 1964 graduate of Dalton High School and had worked for Finnicum Adjusting Company for 22 years.  She was a member a Fohl Memorial Methodist Church in Navarre.  She was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling to Kelley’s Island and spending her winter’s in Florida.  Her greatest love was her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Phil (Jill) Yoder and their children Wade (Paige) and Landrey, Matt (Doris) Yoder and their sons Maxwell and Dylan, Troy (Amy) Yoder and their daughter Chais and Jeremy (Deanna) Yoder and their sons Justin and Luke; step-children, Bryan (Rayna) Finnicum and their children Connor, Riley and Regan and Mark (Jamie) Finnicum and their sons Mason and Micah; sisters, Marilyn Pittman and Bonnie (Paul) Hiner; and her twin brother, Arden (Kathy) Nussbaum.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster with Pastor Carl Kandel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stanwood Cemetery.  Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

    So sorry to hear. Ardith was a special friend and neighbor growing up in Dalton. Thought of her often. May God comfort her family.
