Deven James “Deegan” Bee

Deven James “Deegan” Bee, age 16, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Akron Children’s Hospital after a hard fought battle following an auto accident on Sunday.

Deegan was born on Nov. 10, 2005 in Wooster and to his parents, Jeremy V. and Lynda Marie (Scott) Bee.  He just completed his Sophmore Year at Waynedale High School and was proud to have been accepted into the Sports Medicine Program at the Wayne County Schools Career Center for his Junior Year.  Deegan was a standout golfer having gone to the State Tournament in 2021.  He was a member of the PGA Junior League and the Ohio National Golf League.   Deegan loved golfing at the Pines Golf Course and had just started working there.  He also loved working at the Brookside Country Club in Canton where he was a caddy.  Besides golfing, he enjoyed hunting arrowheads, spending time at the Scott family farm with family and friends and going on walks with his Mom.  He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Surviving are his parents, Jeremy and Lynda; brother and sisters, Gaven, Lydia and Kindra; grandparents, Jim and Andi Scott of Fredericksburg and Blaine and Karen Aber of Wooster; great-grandmother, Sharon Carr of Wooster and uncles, Tim Scott, Jason Scott and Matt Bee.

Services will be Saturday, June 11th at 9:30 a.m. at the  Mennonite Christian Assembly 10664 Fryburg Rd., Fredericksburg with Pastor Richard Frazier officiating.  Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery.  Friends may call on Friday, from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deegan Bee Go Fund Me Account, https://gofund.me/53a4de67.
