Kathleen (Joyce) Dalessandro

Orrville — Kathleen (Joyce) Dalessandro, age 89, of Orrville, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, following a period of declining health.

Joyce was born on March 7, 1933, in Marshallville, Ohio, to the late Wilbur and Pauline (Kidd) Erwin and married Joseph Louis on September 6, 1950, in Indiana. Joseph died on March 14, 2016.

She attended Orrville High School and  worked as a Librarian for Orrville Public Library for ten plus years, retiring in 1973.

Joyce was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, and the Orrville Historical Society. She enjoyed art, painting, crafting, genealogy, reading, singing in the church choir, traveling, and spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Itsy.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Alan) Young of Orrville, and Ann (Ron) Bilderback of Orrville; son, Joe (Debbie) Dalessandro of Shreve; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

There will be no services and cremation will take place.
