Health Department to offer COVID‐19 vaccines to those 6 months and older
WOOSTER The Wayne County Health Department will be administering COVID-19 vaccines for those 6 months and older 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in July.
These clinics will take place at the Health Department Clinic, 203 S. Walnut St. in Wooster. No appointment is required. Anyone may make an appointment if they prefer by calling 330-264‐9590 ext. 214. Initial, second, third dose (first booster), fourth dose (second booster) and pediatric COVID‐19 vaccine will be administered to those eligible. Children 5 years and older can receive either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. The Health Department has Moderna vaccine available for children 6 months ‐ 4 years. Please bring verification of your vaccine status with you, otherwise vaccine cannot be administered.
“Getting vaccinated is still the best way to protect you and your family from serious cases of COVID‐19,” Health Commissioner Nicholas Cascarelli said in a news release. “I am very excited we can now vaccinate those 6 months to 4 years of age.”
