Weaver, Virgil Dean
Virgil Dean Weaver, 77, of Wooster, OH, passed from this life in the early hours of Friday, July 22, 2022, after a 2 year cancer journey.
He was born Feb 6, 1945 to the late Elam & Lydia (Imhoff) Weaver. On June 11, 1967 he was united in marriage to Janet Begly. She survives. They were blessed with 55 years together. He accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior in his youth, and was a member of Chester Christian Fellowship church at the time of his passing, and was also ordained a minister of the Gospel in 1999. He was a certified auto technician who enjoyed working on cars, and seemed to have the ability to fix most anything! His Godly example was a blessing, and we will greatly miss him!
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters and a son, Kathy Weaver of Wooster, OH, Shari (Kervin) Zimmerman of Wisconsin, Keith (Rhoda) Weaver of Florida, & Gina (Keith) Wise of Perrysville, OH; 19 grandchildren, Kristen (Gregg) Leslie; Kyle, Jared, Jolinda, Brianna, & Miciah Zimmerman; Sierra, Lakeesha, Kaiden, and Antawn Weaver; and Tameshea, QuShon, D’Shaelyn, Tamariah, Jakashia, Qutaya, Jakim, Dayneiqua, and Shadejah Wise; two great-grandchildren, Jonathan & Juliana Leslie. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Harvey (Ina) Weaver, Melvin (Ruth) Weaver, Elam (Martha) Weaver, Edith (John) Peterson, and Naomi (Junior) Richard; sister-in-law, Doris Weaver; and brother-in-law, Dana Good.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister, Elmer Weaver, Roy Weaver, & Lydia Ann Good.
Friends may call Monday, July 25, 2022 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Pine View Christian School, 4730 Rutt Road, Wooster. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Chester Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
