Yoder, Albert R.
Albert R. Yoder, 78 of 3380 County Road 200, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home following a three year battle with cancer.
He was born in Orrville on February 29, 1944 to the late Roman and Mary (Gingerich) Yoder and married Clara R. Mast on September 1, 1966. She died November 9, 2020.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was ordained Deacon in 1987.
He is survived by children, Wayne (Dora) Yoder, David (Laura) Yoder and Edna (Alvin) Yoder, all of Fredericksburg, Roman (Ruby) Yoder of the home, Linda (Ivan) Miller and Mary (Sam) Yoder, both of Sugarcreek, Betty (Jonas) Miller of Fresno and Naomi (David) Yoder of Baltic; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Druscilla (Eli) Troyer and Mary (Raymond) Wengerd of Lewisburg, Kentucky, and Clara (Roman) Gingerich of Orrville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Eli Yoder and David Yoder; sisters Fannie Yoder and Emma Yoder; brother-in-law Roman Gingerich; and sister-in-law Katie Mae Yoder.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Robert Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Schlabach Cemetery, Paint Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 10:00 am on Tuesday at the family residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
