The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the two-vehicle crash that happened around 4:13 p.m. Aug. 18 on state Route 241 north of milepost 3 in Paint Township.

Charles Samples, 32, of Uhrichsville, was operating a 2011 Ford F350, according to a news release from the State Highway Patrol. Lori, I am so upset that Rand was taken this way. I can imagine how you feel, plus being there & going through that moment with him! I missed it in the paper and found out about it from a classmates Facebook message recently. Everyone that knew him… Loved him and respected him. I know I did! I was one of your patients if you recall. Shortly after he opened his office I found out where he was and came in. I was so happy when you two married. And I hurt so bad for you now Lori. You most likely have plenty of family tending to you, but when that dies down and you just need someone to talk to… You can call me! We can cry together. 😢😭 I really liked you too Lori!! You were an excellent receptionist and always so sweet. I’m sniffling and tearing up even as I write this. Please take my offer seriously. I would be more than willing to just sit and be still if you like, go over memories, take you shopping for groceries…… ANYTHING you want. Anything for Rand to see that you have support!! And Anything for YOU, Sweet Lady!! I won’t be pushy or overstep by arriving on your doorstep. Only if you want —and Let me KNOW when. I truly CARE about you too!! 🥰🙏😇. My cell is (330) 936-6866. Prayers for you!!!
