Orvan “Chip” Beachy Jr.

Big Prairie — Orvan “Chip” Beachy Jr., age 56, of Big Prairie, died Friday, August 19, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, following a period of declining health.
Orvan was born on November 12, 1965, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Orvan Sr. and Janet (Bobo) Beachy. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1984. He   married Stacey Rager on November 5, 1984, in Canton. Stacey survives.
He worked as a Service Advisor for Village Motors for the last 3 years and managed Main St. Car Wash & Lube the previous 22 years.
Orvan enjoyed his time serving on the Orrville Fire Department for many years, riding his motorcycle, going hunting & fishing, loved Ohio State Football, liked going on weekend trips with Stacey, get togethers with his friends, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are son, Brian (Amy) Beachy of Wooster; grandchildren, Savannah, Peggy, Destiny, Sophia, and Marcus; six sisters, Karen Tims, Cheryl Thompson, Melody Hicks, Janet Vance, Beth Shilling, and Laura Bisel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Roach.
Friends may call on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, with Pastor Matt Porter officiating. Burial will take place at the Glendale Cemetery in Akron.
