Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents Carlton and Helen
(McGlumphy) Conway and a sister Darlene Christian.
He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Bernita (Fulton) Conway and a sister,
Connie Frotten.  In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by a son Chris (Theresa)
Conway of Orrville, Ohio, and a daughter Diana (Joe) Jackson of Beverly, Ohio. He also
has 7 grandchildren: Ryan Conway, Nathan (Jackie) Conway, Marcus (Rachel)
Conway, Lora (Michael) Myers, A’Kerryia Hawkins, Jarrod Bauerbach, Dylan
Bauerbach, and 7 great grandchildren.  Also surviving is a very special person, Colleen

Jerry was born in Waynesburg, PA.  He moved to Orrville, Ohio and later to southern
Ohio, before settling in North Carolina.  Jerry retired in 2000 from Young Ford in
Charlotte where he worked in the parts department.
He was a faithful member of the Body of Christ, serving in every church he attended.
Jerry served as Vice President of the International Ministries of Dayspring, which was
founded by his wife.  He faithfully served in the ministry, taking care of the grounds,
parking cars, greeting everyone with a warm smile and anything else he found to do.
He also prayed diligently for his family, the church family, and many others he
encountered, many of whom were like sons and daughters to him.
He diligently worked all his life, doing all that he did to the glory of God. As a young man
when asked what he wanted written on his tombstone, he said, “He was a hard
worker!”  That he was!
A memorial service will be held at Dayspring Church in Moravian Falls on Saturday,
October 8th at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Dayspring, PO Box 1050,
