Flickinger, Marita Sladek

Marita was born April 13, 1952 in Mainz, Germany, and attended Orrville High School. She married John A. Flickinger inn 1969.  John died in January of 2021.

She was a homemaker, loved to work in her flower beds, and she enjoyed camping on Lake Lanier, where she suddenly passed.

In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her mother, Reinhilde Brooks; father, Herbert Sladek; step father, Arley Brooks, Jr., and in-laws, Ruth and Paul Flickinger.

Mrs. Flickinger is survived by her children, Michael (Dianne) Flickinger of Sugar Hill, GA and Jason (Kyle) Flickinger of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Isabella and Kayta Flickinger; sisters, Sylvia Seifried, Michaela (Chet) Geiser, and Tina (Brian Luhring) Cunningham all of Ohio; a brother, Arley (Cheryl) Brooks III of Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
