James Campbell Lottes, 88

James Campbell Lottes, 88, of Mount Eaton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Marietta on February 8, 1934 and was a US Army Veteran.  Jim was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and received his master’s degree from Wayne State.  For over 60 years Jim was a business entrepreneur and consultant.  He was proud to be a part of the local community.  He had a passion for auctions and heavy equipment and was well known in the auction circuit.  He enjoyed the art of the deal.
He will be greatly missed by his long time companion, Melissa “Missy” Irwin of Mount Eaton; sons, Mark (Monica) Lottes of Semora, NC, Greg (Jan) Lottes of Moneta, VA and Jeff (Terri) Lottes of Fond du Lac, WI; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph C. and Eleanor (Campbell) Lottes; a grandson, Aaron Lottes; and his former wife and mother of his children, Eleanor Koernor.
Friends may call Friday, October 7, 2022, from 6-8:00 pm at the Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.  Private family graveside services will be held at the Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
