Katie Burkholder Troyer, 93

Katie Burkholder Troyer, 93, of 8551 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Holmes County on July 17, 1929 to the late Jonas E. and Fannie (Miller) Burholder and on December 4, 1951 she married Atlee J. Troyer. He died January 30, 2008.
Katie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her children, Fannie Mae (Ervin) Weaver of Dalton, Ada (David) Kurtz of the home, Elsie (Wyman) Hershberger of Fredericksburg, Erma (Roy) Weaver of Fredericksburg, Levi (Charlene) Troyer of Silt, CO.; 19 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Jr. and Roy (Mary); sisters, Ada and Esther (Crist) Yoder; sisters-in-law, Anna (Eli) Burkholder, Ada (Ura) Burkholder, and Ada Mae (John) Burkholder.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by grandchildren, Neva Kurtz, Wilma, Freda and Ivan Weaver; sisters, Emma and Fannie; brothers, Dan, Paul, Eli, Ura, and John; in-laws, Levi A. Miller, Dan L. Miller, Lizzie Ann Burkholder, Anna Yoder Burkholder and Fannie Fry Burkholder.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 9:00 am at the family residence with Bishop Leon J. Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in the Yoder Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 pm on Wednesday and anytime on Thursday. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
