Dalton 8th-grade volleyball team back-to-back champs

The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs secured their WCAL Championship Oct. 15 after defeating Smithville in 3 sets: 25 – 19, 24 – 26, and 25 -18; and Hillsdale in two sets: 25-18 and 25 to 22. The eighth-grade volleyball team won the title last year as well making them back-to-back champions.
Both the 7th and 8th grade teams won their first round of tournament games. The 7th grade defeated Norwayne in 2 sets: 25 to 17 and 25 to 22. They lost to Smithville in the semi final game: 25 to 8 and 25 to 9. The 8th grade won in 2 sets: 25 to 7 and 25 to 12.
