Donovan R. Milham, 80

FRANKLIN — Donovan R. Milham, age 80, of Franklin, formerly of Orrville, died Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home in Franklin, Ohio, following a period of declining health.
Don was born on March 13, 1942, in Orrville, to the late Virgil and Elizabeth (Hatfield) Milham and graduated from Wooster High School in 1960.  He served as a Specialist in the United States Army, stationed in Berlin, Germany, during the Vietnam War.  He married Virginia Pezoldt on October 8, 1966, at the Augsburg Lutheran Church in Orrville. Virginia died on January 12, 1994.
He worked as a Shipping and Sales Representative for The Will-Burt Company for over 20 years and then worked for Runion’s Furniture in Orrville for 20 years, retiring in 2016.  While working his main jobs, he also provided custodial work at Augsburg Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church, and Kingsway School.
Don was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and then First Presbyterian Church in Orrville. He enjoyed coaching his sons in their youth and later took pride in working for the churches and community service.  After his wife’s passing, he enjoyed card nights with his friends.
Surviving are two sons, Steven R. (Barbara) Milham of Newark, DE and Michael D. (Christine) Milham of Franklin; four grandchildren, Cassandra, Marissa, Andrew, and Virginia (John); and two sisters, Catherine (Delbert) Ralston of Orrville and Mary (Dick) Baker of Wooster.
Friends may call on November 11, 2022, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak Street, Orrville from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on November 12, 2022, at Auble Funeral Home, with Pastor Sue Rodgers officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, where military rites will be observed.
