School activities: Amaya loves to play on the playground. Her favorite activities are the monkey bars, slides, and swings. Amaya also loves to color.

Reason for nomination: Amaya is always excited about what we are learning in school and spreads this enthusiasm to others. She tries her best and never complains. Amaya has also been a good friend to others. She is always willing to work or play with anyone and loves to make new friends. She makes others feel valued and loved.

Future plans after high school: Amaya would either like to work at the Dalton Dariette, become a principal or be a teacher.
