Steve Wright, 63

Dalton — Steve Wright, age 63, of Dalton, formerly of Winfield, WV and Gordonsville, TN, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton, following a brief period of declining health.

Steve was born on May 26, 1959, in Smyth County, Virginia, to the late Earl and Lillian (Shane) Wright.

He graduated from ICS High School and worked as a truck driver for multiple companies in Tennessee.

Steve enjoyed watching the Tennessee Volunteers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved fishing, model trucks, and listening to gospel music. Most of all he cherished his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen Micheal Wright and Christopher Earl (Noel) Wright; three grandchildren, Zachary, Oliver, and Nicholas Wright; sister, Stephanie (Mike) Cuddy; and numerous family in the Orrville area.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Guy Wright; and mother, Lillian Mae Wright.

There will be no services in Ohio. Services in West Virginia are pending.
