NOTICE OF SUGAR CREEK TWP TRUSTEE POSITION OPENING

The Sugar Creek Township Board of Trustees has an opening for the position of Trustee due to the resignation of Trustee, Jonathan Hofstetter. The term of this position will be for 1 year beginning January 1, 2023 and ending on December 31, 2023. The position will then be filled by the voters of Sugar Creek Township in the general election on November, 7, 2023 for the remaining 2 year term.

You must also be able to attend the Jan. 10 regular meeting at 7 p.m. when trustees plan to interview prospective candidates in person.
As a township trustee you’ll be responsible for attending regular board meetings each month in addition to any special meetings as needed. Each trustee works independently during the month on various tasks and projects as assigned by the 3-person board. All decisions and board actions are made at the regular monthly meeting and special meetings. Trustees are paid on a per diem basis of $58.71 for each day worked. You must reside within Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County to be eligible.
