David C. “Chris” Gerbetz, 41

David C. “Chris” Gerbetz, age 41, of Wooster, entered into rest unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2023.

He was born on July 14, 1981 in Ashland and has been a Wayne County Resident for all of his life.

He had previously worked for Precision Hydrographics & Coatings as a Shop Manager in Mogadore. He presently was working for ECS Tuning in Wadsworth as a Production Manager.

Chris was known to be a car-buff who enjoyed all aspects of vehicles and attending car shows;
He was also a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding with his friends.

In addition to his mother, Tammy L. (John A. ) Wilson of Wooster, he is survived by his children, Aiden Gerbetz of Akron and Sierra Gerbetz of Doylestown; a sister, Melanie D. Wolf and nieces, Makayla and Brianna Kline all of Wooster; and his best friend, Brad Sanders.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Gerbetz.

Visitation was held Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr. in Wooster and one hour prior to services (12:00 – 1:00 pm) on Monday at the funeral home.

Services were held on Monday, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Don Bolich officiating followed by interment at Prairie Township Cemetery in Holmesville,
