Florina M. “Flo” Schotsch, 79
ORRVILLE — Florina M. “Flo” Schotsch, age 79, of Orrville, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at The Avenue at Wooster in Wooster, following a period of declining health.
Flo was born on December 1, 1943, in Massillon, to Floyd and Mildred (Mullett) Reichenbach, graduated from Northwest High School in 1961, and married Wilfred B. Schotsch on May 7, 1961, in North Lawrence. Wilfred died on March 16, 2018.
She worked as a Hostess for Howard Johnson’s in Wooster for a few years and later worked for Goodwill in Orrville, eventually retiring to make her home for her family.
Flo was a member of Smithville Brethren Church. She enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and BINGO, but most of all, she loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Rob (Shelly) Schotsch of Wooster and Mike “Buda” (Lois Thomas) Schotsch of Orrville; grandchildren, Ashley (Robert) Gonzales of Waxhaw, NC, Erica Schotsch of Wooster, and Raven Dedic of Orrville; step-grandchildren, Alex and Chelsea Waverley of Phoenix, AZ; great grandchildren, Robbie and Mikayela Gonzales, Bryce Schotsch, Kaira and River Dedic, and Serenity and Darwin Green; brother, Donald (Margaret) Reichenbach of Massillon; sister-in-law, Pat Mick of Canal Fulton; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Wilfred, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Reichenbach; father, Floyd Reichenbach; and mother, Mildred Reichenbach States.
Friends may call on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Auble Funeral Home, with Pastor Rev. Larry C. Chaffins officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
The family wishes to thank the staff at The Avenue in Wooster for their patience and care of Flo during the last two years.
