1. What do you love about working at Dalton Local Schools?

I love the support system at Dalton. I have only been here a few months and I have already been blessed so much by the staff and community, it is incredible. Dalton is full of genuinely wonderful people and hard working students.

2. How did you get to where you are today?

This is my 10th year teaching math. I have taught at West Holmes High School and Northwestern Middle School before making Dalton my home. I have taught all grade levels in my licensure of 7-12 and can honestly say, I absolutely love what I do no matter what the grade level. I have always known I wanted to teach and I had wonderful math teachers and athletic coaches growing up in Toledo to model after. I also have studied under math coaches to help improve math instruction. Math gets a bad rap, and I really hope to change that in my sphere of influence.

3. Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that people would be surprised to hear.

I love to hike, camp, and backpack. As a camp counselor I was high ropes, rock wall and zip line certified and was a white water raft guide.
