1. What do you love about working at Dalton Local Schools?
The thing I love most about working at Dalton is that everyone is always so welcoming. From the first day I started working here I have felt like I belonged here and that was and is a great feeling to have. Everyone is always willing to work together for the greater good of the students and it makes me so proud to say I work at Dalton Local Schools.

2. How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Chippewa High School in 2016 and got my Bachelors in Education (k-12 Moderate to Intensive Special Education) in 2020 from the University of Akron. This is my third year teaching, one year at Dalton Middle School and two at the elementary school. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a teacher but when I was in high school my mom suggested that I volunteer in our MD room. And that is when I fell in love with this profession and knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. The teachers in that room inspired me to become the teacher I am today.

3. Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that people would be surprised to hear.
One fact about me is that I love anything and everything Disney. All the movies, all the characters and all the parks. I am always looking forward to our next trip because it truly is the most magical place on Earth!
