GREEN – Sally A. Thomas, 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Jan. 24, 2023.
Sally was born Dec. 8, 1937 to the late Robert and Opal (Sergeant) Noaker and lived in the City of Green 18 years. She worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. and the Firestone family and was a faithful member of The Chapel in Green. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing Bridge and Mahjong.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her sisters, Patty Fretwell, and Barbara Wiegel.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bert Thomas; sons, Kevin (Becky), Keith (Valerie Burgner), and Christopher (Beth) Thomas; grandchildren, Eric (Holly), Heather (Kurt), Blake (Alyssa), Michele (Matthew), Kellen, and Robert; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Owen; and many other loving family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319, with Pastor Brett Ferris, Officiating.  Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
