Donna J. Schneider, 90

Dalton — Donna J. Schneider, age 90, of Dalton, went home Sunday, February 26, 2023, at The Avenue at Wooster in Wooster, following a period of declining health.

Donna was born on December 19, 1932, in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Merle and Oris (Parker) Johnson and married Paul O. on April 23, 1949, in Greenup, KY. Paul died on July 17, 2002.

She worked as a homemaker taking care of the home and children.

Donna was a memeber of Newcomer Chapel of Pigeon Run United Methodist Church and was an auxiliary at Dunlap Hospital, loved embroidery, making quilts, cardinals, reading, watching old western movies, traveling when she could especially down to Florida, was active in 4H, enjoyed spending time with her dogs, loved all her family, and was so happy to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Christine (David) Bush, Vickie (Bill) Rohr, and Debra Schneider; son, Donald “Skip” Schneider; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, 2 grandchildren; a brother; and a daughter-in-law.

The family would like to give a special thanks to LifeCare Hospice and The Avenue of Wooster for their amazing care to mom.

There will be no services and cremation will take place. Her memory will live on through all her loved one’s that will deeply miss her.
