Dalton residents asked to limit electricity use during ‘temporary fix’
DGKN staff report
Here is a public statement from Dalton Mayor Dennis Finley provided Tuesday, March 28:
“Power has been restored throughout the Village. However, the way it was restored is only a temporary fix. We are asking consumers to consider minimal use until everything is completely restored. We will send out an update when everything is back to normal.”
On Wednesday, March 29, Finley issued a statement that power distribution had returned to normal.
Like we did at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, if you have a “thank you” or you experienced a “bright spot” in the darkness thanks to a neighbor, friend, family members or you would just like to share a brief story about how you got through this recent struggle without electricity, please email your “Bright Spot” to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration in an upcoming edition.
