Orrville man dies in single-vehicle crash March 28 in Baughman Twp.

BAUGHMAN TWP. A 71-year-old Orrville man died March 28 after his vehicle crashed in Baughman Township.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the one-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at 4:23 p.m. March 28 on Burkhart Road west of Tannerville Road, according to a news release from Ohio Highway Patrol.
The crash involved a white 2010 Dodge Avenger driven by John C. Woodruff, 71, of Orrville, the release states.
Initial investigation revealed the driver was traveling eastbound on Burkhart Road. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway striking the ditch and overturned several times ejecting the driver.
Woodruff was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries.
Alcohol may be a factor in this crash, the release states. The driver was not belted at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
