Pamela Ann (McElroy) Martin, 72
Pamela Ann (McElroy) Martin, 72, of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
She was born in Massillon on February 5, 1951 to the late Melvin and Dorthy (Pederson) McElroy and attended Dalton High School. She worked at the former April’s Restaurant in Dalton and Shady Lawn Nursing Home
On May 23, 1974, she married Albert “Chas” Martin. He passed away on September 29, 2022.
She raised miniature horses and had a love of all animals. You could always find her and Chas on “their bench” at the Wayne County Fair.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Kelley) King (Monte); and grandchildren Chad (Emma) King, Paige (Jake) Whitacre and Megan (Brock) Nettleton; 5 great grandchildren; and a brother, Randy McElroy of Eden, NC.
Following her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
