Clifford Allen Steiner, 64

Clifford Allen Steiner, 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 1, 2023.

He was born near Dalton, Ohio, on January 5, 1959 to the late Samuel and Orpha (Neuenschwander) Steiner.
He was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Denise (Good). They shared over 31 years of married life. He is also survived by children Dawnita of Ripley, NY; Kristal, and Kenton both of the home; Larissa (Nolan) Martin of Ashland, OH; Sherri, and Bradley, also of the home.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Angela, in 1993. Also preceding him were brothers John Steiner and Oris Steiner and a sister Mary Ann Steiner.
He will be remembered and missed by brothers Wilbur (Ann) of Smithville, OH; Irvin (Sally) of Richland, PA; Vilas of Dalton, OH; Maynard (Cheryl) of Dalton, OH; and Olen (Garneta) of Apple Creek, OH; sisters Miriam, Arlene, and Esther all of Dalton, OH; brother-in-law James Steiner of Smithville, OH; sister-in-law Dorothy Steiner of Wooster, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
He accepted Christ in his youth and attended Valley View Mennonite Church. He cared deeply for his family and especially enjoyed listening to his family sing and helping along. He always showed a special interest in each of his children’s lives. He lived on the family farm all his life and had a passion for cows and farming. He also enjoyed his chores and pets. He often enjoyed walks and rides around the community.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at the East Union Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the County Line Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, May 4 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the East Union Mennonite Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 697, San Andreas, CA 95249, designated to the Ukrainian Crisis Fund. Spidell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
