1. What do you love about working at Dalton Local Schools?
First of all, it’s a joy working with a staff that is so positive and dedicated, and it’s a joy to be a part of so many children’s lives. I enjoy helping the teachers and students in the classroom and recess time is an opportunity to help children develop sportsmanship and social skills. It’s a blessing to be able to encourage and speak positive words into their lives throughout the day.

2. How did you get to where you are today?

I began working at Dalton Elementary in 1999, after being a stay-at-home mom with my four children. My job has allowed me to be involved in the school and have the same schedule as my children, and now, my grandson.

3. Share an interesting fact about yourself that people may be surprised to hear.

One thing people may not know is that I love music, and I play trumpet in the Orrville Community Band!
