Ida E. (Chupp) Nisley, 93

Ida E. (Chupp) Nisley, 93, of 9540 Township Road 659, Dundee, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at her home following a period of declining health.

She was born near Apple Creek on February 25, 1930 to the late Ezra J. and Lovina J. (Miller) Chupp and married Eli J. Nisley on December 14, 1950.  He died February 22, 2014.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her five children, Amanda (late Marvin) Miller of Winesburg, Mary Ann (Edwin) Miller of Dundee, Mattie (late Levi) Raber of Mount Eaton, Joseph (Freda) Nisley of the home and Clara (Wyman) Yoder of Dundee; 31 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; a brother, Ezra of Akron; a half brother, Monroe of Fredericksburg; sisters, Mattie of Sarasota, FL and Fannie of Patriot, OH; a brother-in-law, Atlee Burkholder; sisters-in-law, Edna Chupp, Anna Chupp and Malinda Chupp; her caregivers, Elizabeth Yoder, Sarah Miller and Delila Swartzentruber.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sons-in-law, Marvin Miller and Levi Raber; a grandchild; a great grandchild; six brothers; a half brother; four sisters; and two half brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 9:00 AM at the family residence, 10792 Senff Road, Dundee, with Minister Marion Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Nisley Cemetery in Paint Township, Wayne County.  Friends may call any time after 3:00 pm on Tuesday and anytime on Wednesday at the family residence.  Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
