Janice Carol Lehman, 76

ORRVILLE — Janice Carol Lehman, age 76, of Orrville, formerly of Lake Harmony in Dalton, died Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Aultman Orrville Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Janice was born on January 12, 1947, in Massillon, to the late Fred and Lena (Hoover) Wolfe, graduated from Perry High School in 1965, and attended Malone University for 3 years.  She married Stanley Earl Lehman on August 3, 1968, at the Grace Brethren Church in North Canton. Stanley survives.
She worked as a secretary for the Canton Repository, Republic Steel, Wayne Dalton Corp, Shafter Valve, and most recently for Living Water Church.
Janice was a member of the Varsity Ambassadors at Malone College, Christian Homemakers in Kidron, and served as a Children’s Leader at Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoyed travel, reading, grandchildren’s activities, cuddling her Calli dog, and activities at OrrVilla.  She also enjoyed all types of plays, musicals and comedies at the Norwayne and Dalton High Schools, the Ohio Light Opera, Amish and Star Theaters, and The Station in Erie, PA.
In addition to her husband, Stanley, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Scott (Violet) Lehman of Dundee and Michael (Amy) Lehman of Wooster; daughter, Kayli (Daniel) Lehman-Kinard of Apollo Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Chelsea (Domingo) Hernandez, Heather Lehman, Ian Lehman, Erika (Hector) Bendfeldt, Jaden Holliday and Bryce Holliday; eight great grandchildren, Mallory, Mina, Mateo and Theo Hernandez, Gabriel, Evelyn and Rayla Bendfeldt, and Samus Holliday; four sisters-in-law, Patti Wolf, Diane Sommer, Lorie (Marv) Troyer and Mary Lehman; and two brothers-in-law, Ralph (JoAnn) Lehman and Steve (Carol) Lehman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Angel Lehman; brother, Robert D. Wolfe; and brothers-in-law, Larry Lehman and Ronald Sommer.
Friends may call on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Art Carr officiating. Cremation will take place with burial of ashes at Kidron Mennonite Church Cemetery at a later date.
